Rare is an official rarity category. It does not mean these are the rarest fruits in the entire game Blox Fruits on Roblox .

What Are Rare Blox Fruits?

Rare is the middle rarity level between Uncommon fruits and Legendary. Fruits in this group usually offer better damage, movement, passives, or grinding ability than lower-priced options.

Rare Blox Fruits

The current Rare category contains:

  1. Light
  2. Rubber
  3. Ghost
  4. Magma

Some older guides still include Barrier or Door. Those fruits are not part of the current four-fruit Rare lineup. User Our Updated and Easy to Use Blox Fruit Calculator to check all rare blox fruits trading values.

Rare Fruits vs the Rarest Fruits

“Rare fruits” and “the rarest fruits” have different meanings.

Rare fruits belong to the official Rare rarity category. The rarest fruits usually refers to expensive Mythical, Limited, or event-only fruits with low availability and high demand.

Players searching for the top ten rarest fruits are usually looking for a different list.

Price, Trade Value, and Permanent Value

These terms should not be treated as the same thing.

Beli price: The fixed amount charged by the Blox Fruit Dealer when the fruit is available.

Robux price: The price used to unlock the permanent version through the game shop.

Trade value: A community estimate of what a physical fruit is worth when traded with other players.

Permanent value: An estimate of what a giftable permanent fruit may receive in trades. Permanent values differ sharply between community lists, so always check a live value source before accepting a deal.

Permanent fruits let players switch back to an unlocked fruit through the dealer or shop menu. They should never be compared directly with an ordinary physical fruit.

Rare Blox Fruits Ranked

1. Magma

Magma ranks first for overall progression, grinding, bosses, and Sea Events. It has the highest current regular trade value among the four fruits and stronger demand than the other Rare options.

2. Light

Light ranks second overall but can be the best choice in the First Sea. It offers fast travel, ranged attacks, an M1 attack, and low mastery requirements.

3. Ghost

Ghost offers mobility, stuns, summoned ghosts, and a Resurrection passive. It is more useful for survival and creative PvP builds than pure grinding.

4. Rubber

Rubber has useful defensive matchups and can work in PvP, but its low demand and limited general-purpose utility make it the most specialized option in this category.

This ranking considers progression, ease of use, demand, travel, grinding, and general utility. A skilled PvP player may rank them differently.

Light Fruit Value, Abilities, and Best Uses

Light is a Rare Elemental fruit priced at 650,000 Beli or 1,100 Robux. Its current regular community value is around 800,000.

Light works well for beginners because its attacks have good range, its mastery requirements are low, and Light Flight reduces the time spent moving between islands.

Main unawakened moves include:

  • Light Ray at 1 Mastery
  • Light Flight at 10 Mastery
  • Barrage of Light at 40 Mastery
  • Reflection Kick at 80 Mastery
  • Sky Beam Barrage at 110 Mastery

Light Strengths

  • Fast island travel
  • Good early-game grinding
  • Ranged attacks
  • Elemental immunity against qualifying NPC attacks
  • Low mastery requirements
  • Useful M1 attack
  • Can be awakened

Light Weaknesses

  • Requires good aim in harder PvP fights
  • Lower sustained damage than Magma against large targets
  • May be replaced by stronger options later in the game

Should You Eat, Store, or Trade Light?

Eat Light if you are in the First Sea, need faster travel, or want a beginner-friendly grinding fruit. Store or trade it if you already use a stronger progression fruit.

Magma Fruit Value, Abilities, and Best Uses

Magma is a Rare Elemental fruit priced at 960,000 Beli or 1,300 Robux. Its current regular community value is approximately 1,150,000, making it the most valuable physical fruit in this rarity group.

Its attacks deal strong damage and can leave damaging magma on the ground. This makes it effective against groups, bosses, and large Sea Event targets.

Main unawakened moves include:

  • Magma Clap at 1 Mastery
  • Magma Floor at 10 Mastery
  • Magma Eruption at 45 Mastery
  • Magma Fist at 95 Mastery
  • Magma Meteors at 140 Mastery

Magma Strengths

  • High damage
  • Strong grinding performance
  • Effective against bosses
  • Excellent for Sea Events
  • Elemental immunity against qualifying NPC attacks
  • Can be awakened
  • Highest demand among current Rare fruits

Magma Weaknesses

  • Slower movement than Light
  • Some attacks are harder to land against fast PvP opponents
  • Less convenient for traveling between islands

Should You Eat, Store, or Trade Magma?

Eat Magma if grinding, Sea Events, or boss fights are your priority. Store it if you already use a stronger fruit. Its higher demand also makes it the best Rare fruit for trading up.

Ghost Fruit Value, Abilities, and Best Uses

Ghost is a Rare Natural fruit priced at 940,000 Beli or 1,275 Robux. Its current regular community value is around 800,000.

Its main feature is Resurrection. After being defeated, the user receives a second life with 50% of their original health. This can create another chance to escape, counterattack, or finish a close fight.

Main moves include:

  • Shivering Possession at 1 Mastery
  • Spectral Release at 50 Mastery
  • Wandering Soul at 75 Mastery
  • Cries of the Underworld at 100 Mastery
  • Ghost Busters at 150 Mastery

Ghost Strengths

  • Second-life passive
  • Useful mobility
  • Stuns and area damage
  • Summoned ghosts can pressure enemies
  • Interesting for PvP and sword-focused builds

Ghost Weaknesses

  • Lower grinding efficiency than Light or Magma
  • No Elemental immunity
  • Low current trading demand
  • More specialized than general-purpose

Should You Eat, Store, or Trade Ghost?

Eat Ghost if you enjoy PvP utility, survival mechanics, or unusual builds. Trade it if your main goal is fast leveling or moving toward higher-demand fruits.

Rubber Fruit Value, Abilities, and Best Uses

Rubber is a Rare Natural fruit priced at 750,000 Beli or 1,200 Robux. Its current regular community value is approximately 700,000.

Rubber focuses on stretchy attacks, movement, transformation, and defensive matchups. Skilled players can use it effectively, but it is less convenient for general progression.

Main moves include:

  • Cannon at 25 Mastery
  • Smash at 50 Mastery
  • Slingshot at 80 Mastery
  • Rush at 125 Mastery
  • Transformation at 225 Mastery

Rubber Strengths

  • Unique defensive passives
  • Useful against certain gun and Rumble-based attacks
  • Transformation improves its combat options
  • Good movement when used correctly
  • Can support specialized PvP builds

Rubber Weaknesses

  • Higher mastery requirement for Transformation
  • Low trading demand
  • Less efficient for grinding than Light or Magma
  • Does not currently have a standard fruit awakening

Should You Eat, Store, or Trade Rubber?

Eat Rubber if you specifically want its playstyle or defensive PvP advantages. Most progression-focused players will get more value from Light or Magma.

Light vs Magma

Choose Light for fast travel, easy early grinding, range, and beginner-friendly gameplay.

Choose Magma for stronger damage, bosses, Sea Events, and better trading demand.

For most First Sea players, Light is more convenient. For sustained PvE damage and later Sea content, Magma is usually the better investment.

Ghost vs Rubber

Choose Ghost for Resurrection, mobility, stuns, and a second chance during combat.

Choose Rubber for its specialized defensive passives, transformation, and unusual PvP matchups.

Ghost is easier to recommend for general play. Rubber suits players who understand how to build around its strengths.

How to Get Rare Blox Fruits

Buy From the Blox Fruit Dealer

The dealer sells fruits for Beli when they appear in stock. You can also purchase permanent versions with Robux.

Check the current stock before waiting for a specific fruit. Dealer availability changes, so a Rare fruit may not always be purchasable with Beli.

Use the Blox Fruit Gacha

The Blox Fruit Gacha lets players purchase a random physical fruit once every two hours. The result is random, so it does not guarantee a Rare-tier fruit.

Find a Naturally Spawned Fruit

Physical fruits can appear naturally in the game world. Finding a specific fruit this way depends heavily on timing and luck.

Trade With Other Players

Trading can be faster when a fruit is unavailable in stock. Compare both value and demand before accepting. Two fruits can have similar values but very different trading interest.

How to Avoid a Bad Trade

  • Confirm whether the offer contains a physical or permanent fruit.
  • Compare current values from more than one source.
  • Check demand, not value alone.
  • Recheck values after major updates or fruit reworks.
  • Never click links sent by unknown traders.
  • Avoid cross-trading for real money, accounts, or items from another game.
  • Do not let another player rush you into accepting.

A fair trade should have reasonably close value and demand on both sides. A higher total number does not always make an offer better if the items are difficult to trade again.

How This Guide Was Verified

We checked the current Rare category, individual fruit prices, types, moves, and mastery requirements against the Blox Fruits Wiki. Community trade values were compared across Traderie, FruityBlox, and other active value lists.

We did not claim personal testing. Trade values are community estimates and can change after game updates, reworks, or shifts in player demand.
