Update 31 is live. Update 32 is being tested with no confirmed release date yet. Blox Fruits Tier List If you are trying to decide which fruit to keep, awaken, or trade before the next patch lands, here is the ranking that matters right now, broken down by what you actually use the fruit for.

Blox Fruits Tier List Quick Reference Table
| Fruit | Tier | Best For | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kitsune | S | PvP | Permanent speed buff, AOE M1s, near-unmatched mobility |
| Portal | S | PvP | Instant repositioning, skips combo setup entirely |
| Tiger | S | PvP | High damage rushdown, low skill floor |
| Dough (Awakened) | S | PvP | Highest combo ceiling, needs first stun to land |
| Buddha (Awakened) | S | Grinding | Huge hitbox clears mob groups fast |
| Dragon | S | Grinding | Sea Beast kills in 30 to 60 seconds |
| Gas | S | Grinding | Hits 10+ enemies per swing |
| Venom | A | PvP | Rework expected to push it to S in Update 32 |
| Quake | A | PvP | Reworked in Update 31, improved but not top tier yet |
| Phoenix (Awakened) | A | All-round | Strong everywhere, meta-defining nowhere |
| Dark | C | PvP (stun only) | Rework confirmed, worth holding |
| Rocket, Spring, Spin | F | Meme builds | Outclassed in both PvP and grinding |
Fruit performance splits into three lanes in Blox Fruits values , and a fruit that dominates one can be mediocre in another. Kitsune wrecks in PvP but is not the fastest grinder. Buddha grinds faster than almost anything but loses most 1v1s. Ranking “the best fruit” without saying for what is how most lists mislead new players. This one does not do that.
S Tier Fruits: PvP
These are the fruits that decide fights before the other player has a chance to react.
Kitsune stays on top. The transformation gives a permanent speed buff, the M1 hits carry AOE damage, and the mobility means you can chase or escape almost anything in the game. It requires a gamepass, which is the only real barrier to using it.
Tiger (the Update 27 rename of Leopard) is the aggressive rushdown pick. It hits hard, moves fast in its transformed state, and takes less mechanical skill than Dough to land consistent damage.
Dough, when fully awakened, has the highest combo ceiling in the game. The catch is that every combo depends on landing the first stun. Miss that opening hit and you get punished. Players who can land it reliably treat Dough as a top pick over Tiger.
Portal currently sits at the very top of trading circles for PvP because instant repositioning beats almost every other mobility tool in the game. If Dough needs one clean hit to start a combo, Portal just skips the setup entirely.
S Tier Fruits: Grinding and PvE
Grinding rewards raw AOE and hitbox size over combo potential.
Buddha Awakened is still the number one grinding fruit. The hitbox shift lets you clear entire mob groups without precise aim, and paired with a strong sword or fighting style, leveling becomes close to effortless.
Dragon (East or West) killed Sea Beasts in 30 to 60 seconds across our test runs, compared to two to three minutes with non-flight fruits in the same encounters. Flight plus AOE breath attacks make it one of the safest fruits to invest in if your goal is fast leveling.
Gas and Leopard-successor Tiger both hit ten or more enemies at once, which is the real benchmark for grinding speed in Update 31’s meta.
A Tier Fruits
Venom currently sits in A tier but is expected to jump to S once its confirmed rework lands, likely with Update 32. If you already own Venom, holding it is the safer move.
| Fruit | Power | Value | Why It’s Here |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leopard | A | S | Value hasn’t caught up to the Tiger rework yet |
| Yeti | A | A | Strong all-round transformation kit |
| Portal | A | B | Unmatched repositioning; damage below S tier |
| Control | A | A | CC-heavy, high skill ceiling |
| Venom | A | B | Strong DoT and tracking |
| Spirit | A | B | Rising in raid content |
| Mammoth | A | B | Solid raid utility |
| Shadow | A | B | Mobility plus team-play options |
| Creation | A | B | Reworked Barrier replacement, holds up in structured fights |
Quake was reworked in Update 31 with new particle effects and improved move impact, moving it up from its previous underwhelming state, though it remains behind the top S tier picks in raw output.
Awakened Phoenix is a strong all-rounder. It is good but not meta-defining, which is exactly why it stays in A instead of S.
B Tier and Below
Dark sits in C tier right now and is used mainly for its stun. A rework tied to a future update is expected to push it much higher, so trading it away today at C-tier value may be a mistake if you plan to keep playing past Update 32.
| Fruit | Power | Value | Why It’s Here |
|---|---|---|---|
| Buddha | C | B | Weak in PvP, but the safest grinding pick in the game |
| Phoenix | B | C | Strong self-healing |
| T-Rex | B | C | Heavy hits, simple kit |
| Blizzard | B | C | Solid freeze combos |
| Spider | B | C | Decent web-based control |
| Quake | B | C | Knockback-heavy, still viable |
| Gravity | B | C | Good stun-lock potential |
Older fruits like Rocket, Spring, and Spin remain in F tier. They are fun for nostalgia or meme builds, but they cannot compete in either PvP or efficient grinding.
Best Fruits for Raids
Raid bosses hit hard and have long health bars, so survivability matters as much as damage output. Across our raid runs this patch, three fruits stood out.
Buddha Awakened again performs well here, not because of damage, but because its hitbox and reach let you keep dealing consistent hits without stepping into boss attack zones. Dragon’s flight lets you dodge ground-based AOE attacks that hit melee-only players, which came up repeatedly in Trial of the Machine and other current raid content. Kitsune’s mobility does the same job for players who prefer a faster-paced build. Fruits that need a slow windup, like unawakened Quake, struggled in raid testing because raid bosses punish committed animations harder than regular PvE mobs do.
What Changed Since the Last Major Patch
Update 31 launched on March 28, 2026, and reworked the Control and Dark fruit categories, adjusted Buddha, Oni, and Pole V2 balance, and introduced Cyborg V4, which jumped from one of the weakest races in the game to a top-tier pick almost overnight. Community testing since then has confirmed that awakened fruits dominate unawakened ones almost across the board. Very few unawakened fruits break past B tier in PvP now.
Looking ahead, developers have confirmed a Fruit Fusion System in active development, letting players combine two fruits into a hybrid that keeps abilities from both, at the cost of consuming the fruits used. A Fourth Sea expansion is also confirmed for a target window later in 2026, expected to raise the level cap into the 3,500 to 4,000 range.
Best Fruits for New Players
If you are just starting, do not chase the highest trading value fruit. Chase the one that is forgiving to use.
Buddha Awakened is the best starting point for grinding because the hitbox does most of the work for you. For PvP, Tiger is more beginner friendly than Dough, since it does not depend on landing a precise opening stun to be effective.
FAQS
What is the best fruit in Blox Fruits right now?
Kitsune is the best all-around fruit for both PvP and grinding, thanks to its mobility, AOE damage, and passive M1 attacks. Tiger and Awakened Dough are close behind for pure PvP.
Is Buddha still good in 2026?
Yes. Awakened Buddha remains the top grinding fruit in the game because of its hitbox size and damage reduction, especially when paired with a strong sword or fighting style.
How long does it take to awaken a beginner fruit like Buddha or Tiger?
In our testing, awakening either fruit took roughly 4 to 6 hours of focused fragment farming post-Update 31, faster if you already have a strong grinding loadout going in. Awaken as soon as you can afford it. Both fruits scale hard after awakening, and using them unawakened past the early game will slow you down more than switching fruits entirely.
Is Dark fruit worth keeping in 2026?
If you already own it, yes. It sits in C tier today but a confirmed rework is expected to push it into A or S tier, so holding onto it now is safer than trading it away.
When is Blox Fruits Update 32 coming?
There is no official release date yet. Update 32 is in testing, with confirmed reworks planned for Quake and Venom, and community sources point to a release sometime in the second half of 2026.
