Blox Fruits Update 30 Summary: Magnet Fruit, Secrets and Skins

Blox Fruits Update 30: Everything New (First Sea Rework, Secrets, Skins)

Blox Fruits Update 30 went live on September 5, 2026, and it is the biggest patch in years: a brand-new Mythical Magnet Fruit, all 16 First Sea islands rebuilt from scratch, 40 hidden Island Secrets, a new level cap of 3,000, and 7 cosmetic Chromatic fruit skins. Rather than adding content at the top of the game, Update 30 rebuilt the bottom end. Levels now sit behind First Sea completion instead of pure grinding, which means even max-level players have to sail back to Sea 1. Here is everything the patch changed.

Blox Fruits Update 30 Summary: Magnet Fruit, Secrets and Skins

The Magnet Fruit: Update 30’s headline addition

Magnet is a Mythical Natural fruit that costs 6,000,000 Beli from the Blox Fruit Dealer or 3,500 Robux for the permanent version. Its whole kit runs on a Magnetic Power passive that charges as you collect scrap and climbs through three stages, strengthening M1 attacks and defense, with a Magnetic Pull effect from stage 2. At full charge it transforms into Maximum Overdrive, a heavily armored mech with damage reduction, super armor on key moves, and a self-destruct exit. Community testing ranks it as both a top-tier grinder and a strong PvP fruit, with the F-move disarm as its signature. Full details are in our Magnet Fruit guides and the current Blox Fruits value list.

The First Sea rework: all 16 islands rebuilt

Every island in the First Sea got new textures, brighter lighting, and redesigned buildings. All 16 Sea 1 bosses were refreshed with new attacks, and each one now has a hidden awakened mode you can trigger, which doubles as part of the secrets system. Middletown is the new hub: it holds a Mentor NPC who guides the quest lineup, and the Blox Fruit Gacha Dealer (Zioles) has moved there, complete with the new Magnet Event gacha option. Smaller quality-of-life changes include a redesigned menu and HUD, plus weapon and boat previews before purchase.

Island Secrets and the new level 3,000 cap

Update 30 added 40 Island Secrets across the reworked First Sea. Secrets come in several forms: small puzzles, quests that spawn at random, and fights against awakened versions of Sea 1 bosses. Completing a secret awards a star, and collecting stars unlocks secret levels that grant experience on top of the old cap. Normal grinding still stops at level 2,800, but finishing every secret level currently in the game pushes you to 3,000. A new Secrets Master NPC was added to Sea 1, and he is holding a secret of his own. Completing your first secret also unlocks a World Map on the HUD with fast travel between islands.

The Magnet Event and gacha changes

Alongside the update, an hourly Magnet Event runs at the top of every hour for 10 minutes. Magnetic enemies spawn across the world, each dropping 17 to 35 Magnet Tokens, which you spend at the Magnet Gacha with Zioles in Middletown. Each roll costs 500 tokens and shares a two-hour cooldown with the standard gacha, and the pool includes Uncommon-or-better fruits, accessories, a profile background, and a chase reward of skinned fruits. The regular gacha changed too: Dragon East and Dragon West are now rollable at the Blox Fruits Gacha Dealer, which is already shifting Dragon’s trade value.

Chromatic skins: 7 new cosmetics

Update 30 introduced seven Chromatic fruit skins, each locked to one fruit: Lime Blade (Blade), Topaz Diamond (Diamond), Scarlet Ghost (Ghost), Yellow Lightning (Lightning), Starlight Gravity (Gravity), Runic Fiend (Yeti), and Arcsteel Magnet (Magnet). They are purely cosmetic and touch nothing about damage, cooldowns, or ability behavior. You get them from the Chromatic Gacha Box in the Premium Spinner, or from the Magnet Gacha’s Chromatic Box using Magnet Tokens.

Balance and interface changes

Update 30 also reworked the interface, with a redesigned menu, new health and energy bars, and a new NPC dialogue UI. Community patch summaries report that the update cut all defenses by 25 percent and max health by 10 percent, which reshapes every fight even beyond the new content. If you are returning after months away, expect your first few sessions to feel like a different game: the HUD, the islands, and the level ceiling have all moved. If you are hunting Mythicals in dealer stock, keep the Mirage stock tracker open, since the Advanced Dealer still offers the best Mythical odds. And if you are spending Robux on the update, our 2x Boss Drops gamepass guide shows how paid items hold value in trades.

FAQ

When did Blox Fruits Update 30 release?

Update 30 went live on September 5, 2026 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 3 PM GMT / 4 PM CET. It was the first major content patch since December 2025 and the largest the game had shipped in years.

What is the new level cap in Update 30?

The normal grinding cap is still 2,800, but completing Island Secrets awards secret levels on top of it. Clearing all 40 secrets raises your effective cap to 3,000.

Is the Magnet Fruit free or paid?

Both routes exist. The physical fruit costs 6,000,000 Beli from the dealer, it can be won from the 500-token Magnet Gacha, and the permanent version costs 3,500 Robux. You can also find it in stock, as a world spawn, or by trading.

Do Chromatic skins give any gameplay advantage?

No. All seven Chromatic skins are purely cosmetic. They change colors and, for two of them, models, but a skinned fruit hits exactly as hard as the default version. They do not affect damage, cooldowns, or ability behavior.
